Sandy Fallon
Sandy grew up in Boulder, Colorado running, hiking, cycling, riding horses, and figure skating. Her desire to help people led her to a career in medicine as a physician assistant. Sandy first stepped on her yoga mat 20 years ago to help alleviate back pain from running. She was hooked immediately and knew she eventually wanted to teach. Her practice as a PA included years in surgery, ICU, and Emergency medicine. After taking care of people with so many medical issues related to lifestyle, she decided to change her approach and switch to a more preventative and holistic approach to healing.
Sandy completed her 200-hour yoga training through Corepower Yoga and her 300-hour with Jason Crandell. She is a certified personal trainer through NASM, a Lagree Pilates Instructor, and has certifications in barre, wall yoga, SUP yoga, Hot 26, yoga sculpt, and aerial yoga. She completed training in nutrition coaching as a Level 2 Precision Nutrition Coach. Sandy opened Rakta Hot Yoga in 2017 in the beautiful town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
The Fallon family decided to change things up and move to South Carolina in 2021. The first time Sandy took a class at CFC, she knew she found her fitness family. She teaches yoga, yoga sculpt, core classes, CFC pump and CFC HIIT at CFC. Her classes have a strong alignment and anatomy focus intermingled with humor and playfulness. Students are always reminded to listen to their own inner teacher and develop their own intuition when they practice. Seeing the joy on a student’s face when they realize they are making progress in balance, flexibility and strength is why she loves teaching yoga.
