Holly Reed
Holly started dancing around age 5 and kept dancing all through high school. Originally from Sumter, SC, she attended college at Converse in Spartanburg, fell in love with the upstate, and never left. She and her husband Abe have been married for over 20 years and have made Clemson their home since 2003. They have two children, Lance and Lillian.
Over the years, Holly tried many different fitness classes from kickboxing to step aerobics always preferring group fitness over working out at a gym. A few years ago, a friend recommended her husband give her a Holiday package to CFC. Her first class was a Barre class and 45 minutes later, she found her new favorite fitness class. She loves barre because it combines that love of dance and choreography with fitness. She joined as a member of CFC and about a year later and eventually became a Barre Above Instructor. Holly is also certified in Balletone and recently completed her Pumped Up Strength certification.
During the school year, Holly is a preschool teacher for the Mother’s Morning Out program at Clemson United Methodist Church. In her free time, you will find her watching her son play football and track at Daniel High School, watching her daughter dance and sing in local theater productions, and of course, supporting the Clemson Tigers!
