Amanda Bennett
Amanda's passion for exercise and fitness began when she started dance classes at a young age and continued through playing sports and attending group fitness classes. Dancing and playing sports, field hockey and soccer, have always been constants in her life.
Amanda grew up in Hershey, Pennsylvania and attended college at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she earned her bachelor's and master's degree in education. After graduation, Amanda taught kindergarten for five years in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Recently, she earned a PhD in Learning Sciences at Clemson University and is currently a faculty member in the College of Education. Being a former dancer, taking barre classes felt very natural for her and a great way to get in a muscle-burning workout through music and movement.
After taking several different classes at CFC since they opened in 2017, she decided to get certified so she could begin teaching her own classes. She is certified in Barre Above, Balletone, and Pumped Up Strength. It has been an incredible opportunity for her to combine her love for fitness and teaching! Outside of the studio, you can find her spending time with her chocolate lab, Kona, her family and friends, and doing anything outdoors.
